How do you know 2024 is a leap year?

The rules:

  • A year that is divisible by 4 is a leap year.
  • Unless it is divisible by 400, then it is not a leap year.
  • Unless it is divisible by 1000, then it is a leap year.

So, the year 2000 was a leap year because all the above were true.
