School and Group Visits
The Mathema Gallery encourages school and other groups to visit the gallery and run their own self-guided tours. Professional learning workshops can be organised for teachers in preparation for school visits.
School visits to our Gallery offer an engaging and flexible learning experience for students. We welcome all schools and home-schooling groups, with the Gallery best suited to Grade 4 and above. Visits can be tailored to suit each group—we can be as hands-on or hands-off as teachers prefer. Students can explore our outer gallery cultures using dedicated activity booklets (see Exhibits page), working individually or in teams, or alternatively take part in our trivia featuring three questions per culture. Teachers are also welcome to bring their own learning materials to complement their visit. Onsite parking is available, along with expansive, manicured grass areas ideal for morning tea breaks, though shaded areas are currently limited.

Bookings for schools and group visits are essential, please submit a form through our contact us page. Alternatively you may contact the Gallery on +61 4 0887 9450 to make a booking. Mathema Gallery is a Non-for-profit organisation which has been established in its entirety using only private funds. Entry for groups is by donation.
